Starting in the 2023-2024 school year, Woodcreek Middle School is now using wmspress.com through the Student News Organization platform to distribute the latest news of WMS.

The goal of this website is to provide a one-stop-shop for students, staff, families and the Summerwood community to obtain the latest student stories, successes and news. Not only will this site allow students and families to see what is happening academically, but it is also a way to follow the athletic department through their upcoming championship seasons.

Each tab will showcase the current news and updates of what is happening in that area of the school. Tabs will be updated as frequently as possible, with the goal being once a week.

The best part of the site is that it will be predominantly led by students of the WMS Journalism department! This will provide them a hands on approach to practicing their journalism skills as they share their journalism skills and tools with the community around them. The first student-written stories will be published next Friday, August 25.

Last year, Summer Creek High School started their own SNO Website as well, schscreekside.com.
