Great turnout for our Meet the Lions last Saturday, it was so exciting to see so many SCHS Students return to play with us for this event.

• • All Beginners have successfully made their First Sounds and will begin bringing instruments home Daily.  Students should be spending -15-20 Minutes each night on their Mouthpiece Workouts.  There will be at least 2 nights a week they will also have “Paper/Pencil” Homework.

• Wind Ensemble:  Sectionals will begin After and Before School on Monday Sept 28th please check with your student for Day and Time.  Students will also have Weekly recordings due in Schoology. 

• Concert/Symphonic:  Students will have Weekly recordings due in Schoology.  Students wishing to Audition for Region Band should attend one of the Wind Ensemble Sectionals each week for their instrument

September 1st  All Forms and Fees need to be Paid and Completed in Cheddar UP

September 11th  Band Spirit Blanket Fundraiser Kick Off  during Classes(more info soon)

September 18th  7th and 8th Graders will Perform at the 7th Grade Football Game

September 20th and 21st  Guest Clinician in 3rd and 4th periods

September 29th  CALLING ALL 8TH GRADERS SCHS 8th Grade Band Night (Details Soon)

October 28th  Region Band Auditions  Wind Ensemble this is Required  Symphonic/Concert Optional
